About the Role:

At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Cornford Lane is an Idyllic site in rural Pembury, home to adults of all ages with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and other complex support needs. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Acorns Day Opportunities team on site!

As a 1:1 support worker you will work under the supervision of the Service Manager and relevant Senior Support Worker, participating in a programme of activities with those you’ll support, providing additional care and support as needed, and working on a 1:1 basis with individuals who require extra support to participate in their day programme.

As part of the 1:1 support team you will act as a positive role model for those we support, enabling each to reach their potential, pursue a fulfilled and chosen lifestyle based on principles of normalisation and informed choice.

About You:

We are looking for friendly, hard-working people with a fun spirit and a good sense of humour to join our team of support staff.

We recognise that good support workers come from all walks of life.
Whether you have years of care experience or no experience at all, if you are a caring person, passionate about empowering others and ready to learn new skills we think you could be a great fit at Aspens!
