Support our CEO Robbie to Go Blue for Brrrriars! Brrrrr-aavo to our CEO Robbie Shanahan who is taking on a frosty feat for our Festive FUNdraiser this year! Robbie will be braving the cold to sit in a bath of ice to raise funds to support people with dementia who are on the autism spectrum or who have a learning disability. The pilot project will be run from our Briars residential service in Pembury, Kent. Pop down to the Bluebell Cafe at our site on Cornford Lane, Pembury to watch Robbie take on this ice bath challenge on Saturday 9 December at 11.00am. We will also be selling Christmas trees and other festive goodies on the day. Robbie said: "On 9th December I will be doing a rather chilly challenge... ‘Going BLUE for brrr Briars’ by sitting in a bath of ice at our Bluebell Café in Pembury! This is to help raise funds for our brand-new ambitious project to support people with dementia and it will be a unique, stand-alone service, unlike any other, supporting individuals in a way no other providers have been able to and enabling us to ensure that those in our care can continue to be supported within the correct environment with the right care. So sponsor me to freeze my socks off and help raise these vital funds for a truly wonderful project!"
