Well done to John and Mike who have completed their #AuSome10for10Challenge and smashed their target by raising over £500 to help our family support team reach more families of people on the autism spectrum.

Brothers John and Mike are supported by our team in West Sussex.  Their support workers helped and  encouraged them to complete their challenge by giving each of their 10 walks a different purpose; such as feeding the ducks, going for ice-cream at the pier, visiting their mum for lunch, going to the shops and going out to collect their takeaway fish and chip lunch!

The team supporting John and Mike in this way is a wonderful example of our core value of Empowerment in action, inspiring positive change and personal growth through care and compassion.

A massive well done and thanks to our amazing team and of course to John and Mike on this brilliant achievement.

The AuSome 10 for 10 Challenge was held during Autism Acceptance Week at the end of March/ beginning of April to celebrate 10 years of our Family Support team and raise funds to enable them to help more families with much-needed services including one-to-one support, sibling support and a live chatline.

We're delighted that the AuSome Appeal has raised over £6000 so far.

The Appeal is still open for donations here
