Refer a Friend Scheme, so you can earn up to £250 for every person you refer to work for Aspens Recognition schemes, including ‘Employee of the Month’ _________________________________________________________ About the Role: You will work with the service manager to oversee the day to day working of our Short Breaks Scheme that involves providing group support for children/young people and their families in accordance with the criteria set by East Sussex County Council under our tender agreement. The aim of the short breaks is to enable children and young people to have the same access to activities as their main stream peers. We provide workshops, events, outings and activities to enable children and young people with SEND from across East Sussex to engage in within group settings. This will involve planning a schedule of groups, activities, workshops and outings for children in response to their needs and wishes and according to their age and capabilities. All activities provided will enable children, young people and adults to engage with their peers, improve their communication skills, confidence, self-esteem and life skills; also help and support children to build up a range of coping strategies and to find interventions that help them manage their condition. You will ensure that the service meets requirements of Aspens Charities quality standards and meets legislator regulations as required by Ofsted and Care Quality Commission (CQC). You will support the production of regular service updates and support monitoring and evaluation processes to measure outcomes and ensure a high-quality service which focuses on the expressed needs and requests from children and young people.
