Senior Support Worker (Part Time)

Salary: £19,047.60

Contract: 37 hours a week

Location: 3 & 5 St Matthews Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN38 0TN

St Matthew Road is a residential home and provides accommodation for up to 10 people with learning disabilities. In particular, they cater for people on the Autistic Spectrum, Asperger Syndrome, and Mental Health Issues. Accommodation is provided in two separate houses and within these properties, there are three self-contained units.

In the Senior Support Worker role, you will provide first line management and lead a small team of support staff. They will lead and support practice development within the team and will provide coaching and mentoring to team members.

In order to ensure you have the opportunity to establish and maintain direct contact and involvement with those we support, an element of their role will be direct support provision.

You'll be responsible for preparing and maintaining up to date support plans, co-ordinating the provision of high-quality, individualised, support by support staff and ensure good joint working practices are established and maintained.

Key to the job is adopting a proactive approach to achieving a positive, engaging, promotional and relationship building role with Local Authorities and all other parties involved.

Support Worker (Full Time)

Salary: £16,777.28 +

Contract: 37 hours a week

Location: 56 St Saviours Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN38 0AR

St Saviours Road is a residential home and provides accommodation for up to 4 people with learning disabilities. In particular, they cater for people on the Autistic Spectrum, Asperger Syndrome, and Mental Health Issues.

We are seeking to recruit two Support Workers to join our team at St saviours. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are able to work on their own initiative and flexible enough to work shift patterns and sleep ins (£28 per night).

The role includes supporting the residents in all aspects of their physical and psychological health, liaising with other professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including lone working and working within a team.

Daily tasks include support service user with their personal care, administering medication, managing petty cash, carrying out H&S checks, housekeeping and supporting individuals to access the community for a range of enjoyable activities and life skills.

Service Administrator (Part Time)

Salary: £18,278

Contract: 16 hours per week

Location: 3-5 St Matthews Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, TN38 0TN

Location: 56 St Saviours Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, TN38 0AR

You will assist and work alongside the Service Manager and Staff Teams at St Matthew Road and St Saviours services within Aspens Charities.

You'll be required to complete a variety of administrator tasks, ranging from updating support plans, contact and personal information, managing the delivery of surveys and duly processing it's information, answering calls and monitoring emails and acting on them accordingly.

You will get to work alongside the fun and dedicated people in both the St. Saviours and St. Matthews services, with 16 hours per week split supporting the admin of both services.

The hours and days of work are flexible to support both you and the service manager to ensure success and support a healthy work-life balance, but will mainly be Monday - Friday day hours.

Supported Living and Outreach Services

Deputy Manager

Salary: TBC

Contract: 37 hours per week

Location: 23-27 Gensing Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN38 0HE

You will support the Service Manager in the development and day to day running of East Sussex Supported Living and Outreach Services. This will include being directly responsible for the day to day work of a group of staff who work directly with service users who can present challenging behaviour or have complex needs and who have been identified as requiring specialist support.

You will work hours typically Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, and will need to be experienced in supporting adults with Autism and Mental Health Conditions. You will also be experienced in staff supervision, conflict resolution, problem solving, rota production and management and finally able to manage both in a team and independently.
