Our charity shop set in the heart of Bexhill is raising money for our Autism, Learning Disabilities and Disability Services across Sussex and Kent. We support adults and children in both residential and supported living services along with their families and the wider community.

We are looking for an assistant manager who has experience in retail and providing excellent customer service, ideally in the charities sector who can support the manager with the day to day running of the shop, which includes stock control, appraising collectables, cashing up, key holding, opening and closing and much more.

Charity Shop Assistant Store Manager Hours: 

9am – 5pm Monday – Saturday, 9am – 4pm Sunday

Two days a week, alternating weekends

15 hours per week contract.

Charity Shop Assistant Store Manager Requirements

  • Must have Retail Experience
  • Able to work to KPI/Targets
  • Experience in the Charity Sector an advantage
  • Experience of working with Volunteers an advantage
  • Experience of Gift Aid an advantage
  • Will ideally have a general knowledge of Antiques and Collectables.
  • Positive ‘can-do’ Attitude
