About the Role:

At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex and Surrey; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

We are currently searching for a Senior Support Worker to join our team at Bexley Supported Living and Outreach Services on a part-time basis.

As their Senior Support Worker, you will work within a team or on a 1-1 basis to empower those we support daily, ensuring to offer them an enriching and enjoyable day.

You'll also support the management team by leading shifts, acting as a go to for any shift queries from the staff team and carrying out all typical senior responsibilities such as medication administration, care plan reviews and shift report writing.

About You:

As a senior support worker, you should ideally have a level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it.

You will be experienced in leading a team whilst supporting someone in a professional setting, or be willing and confident in doing so.

Aspens offer career progression alongside vocational qualifications, we encourage staff development and aim to promote from within the organisation where we can.

Any offer is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring check, which we will complete on your behalf if you don't already have one, and satisfactory employment references. We will consider job share and part time arrangements for all posts in line with the needs of the Charity.

At Aspens Charities, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in Aspens’ workforce, such as sex/gender, minority ethnic group, religion or belief.

Aspens Charities is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. We encourage individuals from underrepresented groups, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, and abilities, to apply. We believe that a variety of perspectives leads to better innovation and a stronger team. We are dedicated to creating an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and has an equal opportunity to thrive.
