About the Role:

At Aspens we work across Kent, Sussex and Surrey; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Saxbys Lane is a Supported Living Service, recently acquired by Aspens. You will be joining and already established and dedicated team of support staff, with the aim of helping to lead the team in its development, support those within the home in line with Aspens core values.

All of our homes are full of energy and we work hard to empower those we support to learn new skills to help them live life independently.

As part of our dedicated staff team, (along with other typical support tasks) your day might include baking and doing puzzles at home, or supporting activities out and about in the community, such as swimming, bowling and horse riding! You will work within a team or on a 1-1 basis to support those living at Saxbys Lane to engage in these activities to offer them an enriching and enjoyable day.

You'll also support the management team by leading shifts, acting as a go to for any shift queries from the staff team and carrying out all typical senior responsibilities such as medication administration, care plan reviews and shift report writing.

About You:

As a senior support worker, you should have a level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it.

You will be experienced in leading a team whilst supporting someone in a professional setting.
