About the Role:

At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Acorns Day Services provides fantastic support to people in our local community, empowering them to learn new skills through a range of exciting sessions throughout the week (including Art and Pottery, Sports, Cooking and Horticulture).

You will act as a positive role model for those you support, creating opportunities for them to reach their potential, leaving them feeling empowered to lead a fulfilling and independent life.

About You:

We are looking for friendly, hard-working people with a fun spirit and a good sense of humour to join our team of support staff.

This role is particularly well suited to a creative and energetic person with a passion for supporting and tutoring adults with learning disabilities.

You should be an enthusiastic team player, ideally with previous experience having supported people with ASC and with a L2 NVQ in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards this).

Whilst working at Aspens you will be supported to complete all essential training as well as service specific training. You will be encouraged to strive for personal progression, with new roles and opportunities often available to internal staff.
