Location: Bluebell Cafe, Cornford Lane, Pembury

 

Aspens supports and empowers adults and young people on the autism spectrum and with learning disabilities. Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission of providing high quality support and care to people through a network of services in the South-East.

We are excited to be looking for a Volunteer Host for our lovely Bluebell Café. The Café is the heart and soul of our beautiful Pembury site, and always buzzing with life and warmth and enjoyed by the people we support, staff and visitors. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and cheerful person to join our hard-working and vibrant Café team.

The role will involve

• Greeting customers at the door
• Directing them to the till
• Serving food and checking our customers are happy
• Helping the people we support with light duties whilst they volunteer in the Café
• Clearing and relaying tables and helping the people we support do this
• Replenish all snacks and stations and assisting the people we support do this
