Recruitment Team, Sussex House, Battle, East Sussex TN33 0AE

About the Role:

At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Cornford Lane is an Idyllic site in rural Pembury, home to adults of all ages with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and other complex support needs. We are currently looking for passionate people to join our dedicated support teams at one of our homes on site!

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be able to enjoy the quiet hours of the night, whilst completing tasks such as cleaning, organising and completing regular checks on the home and on the people, you support.

You'll be responsible for carrying out the person-centred support plans
(including personal care) and following risk assessments, administering medication and completing nightly reports to ensure those we care for are safeguarded while living their best life. Due to the complexity of their needs, some of those within our homes may also need 1:1 support throughout the night.

About You:

We are looking for friendly, hard-working people with a fun spirit and a good sense of humour to join our team of support staff.

We recognise that good waking night support workers come from all walks of life. No matter your level of previous experience, our internal training team will be there to support you with any training and qualifications you will need to complete.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will usually be working either as part of a small team or on a 1:1 basis at times. For this reason you should be confident support others alone, but we recognise that this confidence can be gained through various previous roles and experiences.

Ultimately, if you are a caring person, passionate about empowering others and ready to learn new skills we think you could be a great fit at Aspens and we can’t wait to meet you!
