Aspens is featured as part of the main news story about staffing challenges within the social care sector on BBC Radio Sussex's Allison Ferns breakfast show today.

CEO Robbie Shanahan was interviewed about our recent announcement that we're raising staff pay rates to exceed the UK real Living Wage and boosting learning and development investment in our workforce in a bid to provide sustainable careers, and the challenges we continue to face as a charity due to the COVID pandemic.

The main interview was broadcast live at 8.15am (Friday 14 January 2022) and the story and interview clips are also featured within the hourly news bulletins and throughout the breakfast show.

Come and visit Aspens' Bluebell Cafe near Pembury Village, just outside Tunbridge Wells in Kent. Our Cafe is open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm and serves hot drinks, meals and snacks. Our site also has a woodland walk, an animal farm and a children's playground.
West Sussex children and young people's service

Aspens offers children and young people with autism and related conditions access to a range of support and activities for young people aged 8-18 years living in West Sussex.
