Fundraise for us

We are living in challenging times, with much uncertainty, but fundraising is still possible, whether it's a virtual event, bike ride or even kayaking up the River Thames as one of our supporters has done!

We are enormously grateful to all those that fundraise for us - any money you raise enables us to continue providing vital care and support to some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

As we adjust to the 'new normal' we've been adding a variety of virtual fundraising events to our calendar and have now held our first ever virtual 5K run and quiz night, both of which were a great success. We've got another virtual quiz night coming up soon and keep watching our website and social media for details of more exciting virtual events for you to join in with throughout the year!

Aspens' Fundraising Events:

Fun February Quiz - Thursday 25 February 2021, 7pm

Join us for Aspens' Fun February Quiz! After the success of our first virtual quiz, Merry Quizmas, we're delighted to announce our Aspens' Fun February Quiz Night.

We hope you can join us for a sociable evening pitting your brains against other quiz-goers from the comfort of your sofa, whilst raising vital funds for our charity.

Tickets are £10 per household. Sign up here.

Robbie's Ultramarathon Fundraiser - July 2021

Our CEO, Robbie Shanahan, is going to attempt to run his first ultra-marathon challenge this July in support of Aspens. Avid runner Robbie has run in nearly 20 marathons across the world, but never anything as challenging as this 55K gruelling run, which encompasses the dramatic, and very hilly, Lake District landscape. The route includes 3 mountain passes with a 7000 ft ascent.

Help Robbie reach his target of £5000 by supporting him here.

Donate to Aspens Through Ebay

When you list items for sale through your personal ebay account, there is an opportunity to select a charity that could benefit from the proceeds, this could be anything from 10% - 100% of the proceeds. If you select Aspens Charities, the revenue from the sale of the item will be allocated via PayPal directly to us. Further details on how to do this here.

We also have our own ebay shop, please do have a browse and all items purchased will raise funds for Aspens.

Sponsor an Aspens Animal

Our site at Pembury used to be a farm and we do all we can to keep the farming spirit alive. Among the animals living here we have rabbits of all shapes and sizes, donkeys, chickens, guinea pigs and a large pig called Valerie, who rules the roost - though don't tell that to our resident rooster, who crows from sunrise to sunset every day to keep us alert!

The people who use our services love to look after the animals and we also welcome visits from the public, whether they be walking their dog on our unspoiled farmland or grabbing a coffee in the Bluebell Cafe.

Why not get involved by sponsoring an Aspens animal? You'll receive a certificate, your name will be on a thank you board by their living quarters and, of course, you can come visit your sponsored animal (subject to current Covid-19 guidelines).

Contact [email protected] to find out how you can sponsor your own Aspens Animal.

Aspens is registered with the Fundraising Regulator. Read the Code of Fundraising Practice to learn how we follow fundraising standards.
