COVID-19 Update

Following the government announcements around measures to deal with the Omicron variant over the weekend, we are working with our colleagues to ensure we are doing our utmost to keep everyone safe. We will update the people we support and their families over the next couple of days regarding how the changes affect everyone.

The key updates to the COVID guidance that have relevance to Aspens are as follows:

• Changes to number of people who can visit care homes – now reduced to three people along with an essential care giver.
• Booster programme will be urgently accelerated.
• Plan B has now come into force, from 13 December you must wear a face covering in most indoor public places, including public transport, large venues and events.
• Care home residents will need to test or isolate when they return from trips out.
