Trusts, foundations and statutory funders

Over many years Aspens Charities has benefited from the amazing support of a number of grant-making organisations who are dedicated to funding charitable projects that offer both a charitable purpose and a public benefit. This generous support, given either as a one-off or in the form of grants over a number of years, has enabled us to enhance our services and undertake additional projects.

The difference grants make to Aspens

Grants from trusts, foundations and other grant-making organisations play a vital role in strengthening our charity infrastructure so that we can support children and adults with resources and activities that will help them to achieve their full potential.

Recently we were delighted to receive a grant that enabled us to purchase new vehicles for each of our three resource and activity centres, in Kent, East Sussex and Bexley. These much-needed vehicles will give more than 150 children and adults supported access to their local communities for sporting activities, socialisation and simply a wider perspective and appreciation of the world around them. They will continue to benefit and enjoy outings each week for years to come thanks to the generosity of this grant-maker.

We are always looking to build relationships with new donors and would love to hear from you.

Waking Night Support Worker - Bluejay

Bluejay is supported living for individuals who require higher levels of specialised support. Sometimes the people we support find it difficult to communicate effectively so our staff need to be prepared to deal with complex and distressed behaviours on occasion; this might include physically supporting them to keep themselves and others safe from harm.
