Our recent Aspens Fest event in Worthing, West Sussex was a fantastic success, bringing together families, staff and partners for a day designed to be truly neuro‑affirming. The atmosphere was calm, spacious and welcoming, with thoughtfully created sensory areas, hands‑on workshops and interactive activities that offered something meaningful for every visitor. It was wonderful to see families exploring, creating and connecting.

We were delighted to host brilliant contributions from Figment Arts, Wannado Streetdance and Mrs Blossom Makes, whose creativity and energy added so much to the day. A special thank‑you also goes to Chris Foster, Behaviour Support Specialist & Trainer at Aspens, and Emily Murphy, Specialist Intervention Advisor at Aspens, for their insightful talk on Autism and Sensory Processing Differences, which many attendees told us they found incredibly valuable.

Events like Aspens Fest are only possible thanks to the dedication of our team. We’re hugely grateful to Penny Piggott (Regional Area Manager), Avia Jay (Family Engagement Coordinator), our Behaviour Team, and all the staff and volunteers who helped make the day so memorable.

A big thanks also to two local college students who volunteered to video the event and captured the spirit of the event beautifully - you can watch it here:
