Bubbles and Bids Raises Funds for Aspens in a Sparkling Night of Support Our recent fundraising event, Bubbles and Bids, held in the beautiful Cripps Sky Lounge in Tunbridge Wells, brought together our supporters, families, local businesses and members of the Aspens community, along with special guests the Mayor of Tunbridge Wells, Cllr David Osborne, and Mayoress Linda Seely. We were deeply grateful for the generous support of Cripps, Clive Emson Auctioneers, Presence & Co, Flowersmiths, The Grazing Maze and Chapel Down, who helped make the evening such a success. Guests were welcomed with a glass of Chapel Down bubbly before enjoying relaxed networking, delicious grazing boards and drinks, all set against the stunning panoramic views of the town. The highlight of the night was a lively auction led by Clive Emson Auctioneers, featuring an incredible range of prizes. From a football shirt signed by England star Alessia Russo, to a tour and wine‑tasting experience at Chapel Down Vineyard, to a Champagne Afternoon Tea at The Ritz, the bidding was enthusiastic and great fun. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of everyone who attended, we are delighted to share that over £4,200 was raised. These funds, combined with further funds raised at our Easter Coffee Morning the following day, will enable us to purchase a brand‑new sensory swing for our Acorns Day Opportunities centre in Pembury - a valuable therapeutic resource that will support wellbeing and sensory regulation for the people we care for. Reflecting on the evening, Aspens' CEO, Robert Shanahan, said:“We are incredibly grateful for the warmth and generosity shown at Bubbles and Bids. Thanks to our wonderful supporters, we can now purchase a sensory swing that will make a real difference to the people we support. It was a fantastic evening that truly reflected the spirit of our community.” Join our community of supporters Manage Cookie Preferences Chat with us, powered by LiveChat
