Celebrating our Amazing Team We are thrilled to congratulate our amazing team members for their achievements at the recent Annual Care Awards, hosted by East Sussex Partners in Care and the Great British Care Awards. Marta Kamierczak, Service Manager, won the Care Leadership Award at the Annual Care Awards, a testament to her inspiring leadership and commitment to providing exceptional care. Marta said: "I am privileged to be in a position to direct, support and focus on people's potential towards their goals. When you are given the responsibility to lead, you are given a tremendous opportunity to influence many people's lives positively, a responsibility you should never take for granted! Thank you to Scarlett my colleague Manager for the nomination, to Robbie our CEO for celebrating this achievement with me and to Samantha my Line Manager for the support and guidance. A special thank you to my Deputy Adam and the Seniors Team: Amy, Sharon, Deal and Daniela for being a part of the leadership and carrying this responsibility with me." Jakki Stevens, Head of Quality and Compliance, won the Care Innovator Award at the Great British Care Awards for driving forward creative solutions that make a real difference to the lives of the people we support. Jakki has now been shortlisted for the National Great British Care Awards. Jakki said: "Being nominated for the Care Innovation Award came as a complete surprise, it’s not common for “behind the scenes” work to be so highly recognised, I am so pleased our new Quality App led to a nomination and am so grateful Aspens has a culture that encourages staff to be creative, this idea was immediately supported by our Board of Trustees and our Executive Team for me to take forward. The Quality App has been a great project to work on and has involved so many people. I must especially thank the work of our brilliant IT team and my wonderful colleagues in the Quality and Compliance Team who have helped me to develop this idea into a reality. The next steps for the Quality App is to licence it so other providers can utilise it for their own quality assessments.. and hold my breath for the National British Care Awards I have now been shortlisted for." A big shout out to both Elizabeth Cousins, Support Worker, finalist for the Home Care Newcomer Award and Richard Gray, Deputy Manager, finalist for Outstanding Contribution to Care at the Annual Care Awards; their passion and commitment have made a huge difference to the people we support. Congratulations to all our finalists and winners at both Awards. Their hard work and dedication across our sector are inspiring. Manage Cookie Preferences Chat with us, powered by LiveChat
