We are delighted to announce the opening of ten new supported living service properties, at Samphire House, in Dover, Kent.

The brand-new, self-contained flats are suitable for individuals aged 18+ who are on the autistic spectrum or who have a learning disability. 

The service is delivered under Aspens’ supported living framework, and our highly trained staff focus on person-centred care and empowering the people we support to live as independently as possible in a vibrant community setting.

The flats have been thoughtfully designed with accessibility prioritised, and are located close to local amenities and the coast.

Our New Supported Living Properties in Dover, Kent

The flats comprise a mix of open-plan lounge/kitchens and one-bedroom self-contained units with separate kitchens. This variety caters to different preferences and needs, offering flexibility and convenience for residents.

Accessibility is a key feature of Samphire House, making it an ideal choice for wheelchair users and individuals with physical disabilities. The entire service is designed to be fully accessible, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the facilities without any barriers. To enhance security, CCTV is installed in communal areas and entrance ways, providing peace of mind for residents and their families.

The team working at the accommodation provide flexible, person-centred support, run under the supported living framework, with all staff trained in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and active support approaches to ensure they are embedded into everyday life. There will be a focus on improving quality of life, with input from the specialist PBS team.

The team will provide support with everything from daily living tasks to emotional and behavioural support. Whether residents need assistance managing their schedules or accessing community services, a supportive environment is offered that promotes independence and well-being.
