We are delighted and enormously proud to announce that Aspens has been selected as a finalist in the Disability Charity category and Aspens' trustee Ian Colbridge has been selected as a finalist for Trustee of the Year, for the 2024 Kent Charity Awards.

The Awards showcase the exceptional work of charities and individuals in Kent. Kent Charity Awards said it was "a tough field of entries to judge but, after much consideration and deliberation, the organisers are delighted to announce the following, well-deserved finalists."

Being selected as a finalist for these prestigious Awards is a public recognition of the hard work and dedication of the Aspens team and we thank all our staff for the part they have played in helping us achieve this.

We send a huge congratulations to Ian Colbridge, who has been a trustee for Aspens and its predecessors for over 30 years. Ian's wealth of experience, dedication and guidance over the years have been of enormous value to the Board and our charity. Ian has shown incredible commitment and guided the charity as it has faced a series of challenges, grown and joined forces with other charities, always with the same vision for a more inclusive society. Ian's wife Rosemary has also been hugely committed to Aspens, and their daughter Rosemary is supported by our charity.

The finalists will be invited to a gala Awards evening on 5th September.
