It’s Learning Disability Week and we're highlighting the benefits of nature on the mental and physical wellbeing of people with learning disabilities.

There is increasing evidence that exposure to plants and green space, and particularly to gardening, is beneficial to mental and physical health. We’ve recently launched a new horticultural initiative for the people we support and the community, based on the Thrive concept.

Our Acorns Day services is now offering weekly horticultural therapy sessions, with the aim of boosting the mental and physical health of the participants.
