It's Volunteers' Week and we're saying thank you to our amazing team of volunteers! This is Karen who has been volunteering in our Paddock Wood shop for two years.  

Karen chose to volunteer for Aspens as she's always worked with children and adults with learning disabilities, "It seemed right to volunteer for a charity whose work is very close to my heart." Karen says she enjoys volunteering for Aspens as the team is friendly and supportive and it's a fun and safe environment. Karen says, "I'd encourage people who may be considering volunteering to give it a try. It's a great way of meeting new people, learning new skills and having fun. But most important of all it's for a very good cause." 

Thank you for all your hard work for Aspens Karen! It is very much appreciated. 

Aspens has stores in Paddock Wood, Crowborough, Seaford, Bexhill and Hampden Park. Our Bluebell Cafe is located at the Cornford Lane site in Pembury. We have volunteering opportunities available at all locations.
