Our staff team and some of the families we support walked 10km along the Sussex coast from Littlehampton to Ferring and back, dressed in colours of the rainbow, yesterday for our #AuSome10for10Challenge, celebrating 10 years of the Family Support service and raising funds to help us support more families of people on the autism spectrum.

Chris Foster, Behaviour Specialist took part and said:“We are truly lucky to have such a great team, full of such lovely and dedicated people.”

Penny Piggott, Head of Family and Specialist Support Services, who was also one of the coastal walkers, said: "We would like to say a huge well done to all who took part in the 10km Cafe to Cafe walk yesterday! Thank you so much to The Bluebird Café for an amazing halfway spread. The sandwiches and cakes were divine and certainly helped keep us going for the second half.  Danni Jellett walked 90% of the way in just her socks after getting a blister 1k in!  Massive shout out goes to Lucy Waller for keeping up her 10 dips in the sea challenge, inspiring 3 colleagues to join her in the sea after completing the 10k walk. We were privileged to have Erin and her family, who we support, join us on the walk with our favourite collie Rusty.  Thank you so much to The Beach Café for providing warmth and bubbles to celebrate our finish. We hope this walk and all the other challenges inspire you to dig deep and donate."
