As we begin Volunteers’ Week 2026, we want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to every single one of our incredible volunteers and trustees. Whether you give your time in our charity shops in Paddock Wood, Crowborough or Bexhill, help out in the Bluebell Café, support our gardens and animals, or volunteer within our services, you are an essential part of Aspens.

We also want to recognise our dedicated trustees, who volunteer their expertise and guidance throughout the year. Quite simply, we couldn’t do what we do without you.

By giving your time, energy and kindness, you help us empower autistic people and those with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, meaningful lives. You play a vital role in helping us deliver our mission and vision, and your contribution makes a real difference every single day.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing quotes from our wonderful volunteers and messages of thanks from our teams across Aspens. We hope you enjoy hearing the experiences and reflections that make our volunteer community so special.

We’re also delighted to be hosting a Volunteers’ Coffee Morning on Wednesday at the Bluebell Café. We’re looking forward to welcoming you, celebrating your contributions and treating you to a well‑deserved cuppa and slice of cake.
