Summer Holiday Fun at The Bluebell Cafe

If you're looking for a fantastic and low-cost day out with the family this summer holidays, come and visit our Bluebell Cafe and animal farm on Cornford Lane, Pembury!

Our Bluebell Café, outdoor kiosk, animal farm, playground and beautiful grounds will be open every weekday from Monday 27 July until Friday 28 August 2026. We will be holding a FREE activity trail running every day and on select Wednesdays we'll be holding summer barbecues along with fun and creative craft sessions (more details to follow soon).

Opening Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 10am-4pm

Wednesdays: 11am-4pm

Sizzling summer barbecues

Come and enjoy a delicious, freshly cooked barbecue, with meat and veggie options and accompanying salads on select Wednesday lunchtimes during the summer holidays. 

Barbecue prices:

Adults - £7.50

Children - (under 10 years old) £5.00

Aspens' staff and people we support - £5.00 

(No booking required for barbecue).

Enjoy our animals, playground and beautiful grounds

Why not make a day of it by enjoying our beautiful grounds, which include a wide range of animals to visit, from ponies to alpacas, a woodland playground (with giant musical instruments along the way) and enjoying a bite to eat in our Bluebell Cafe. Our farm and grounds are open all day, every day! If you can’t make it in the week, don’t worry! Please feel free to still visit our grounds and larger animals on the weekend, just please note that our Bluebell Café will not be open on these days.

TN card holders

The Bluebell Cafe is proud to be a member of the TN Card reward scheme, which gives members rewards and discounts when supporting local independent businesses. TN Card holders receive a free hot drink of their choice when they spend £5 or more on food. *

Donations welcome

Aspens Charities provides high-quality support to autistic people and those with a learning disability, and their families. Entry to our site is free but we warmly welcome donations to support our vital work and maintain our grounds. Donating couldn't be easier as we now have a handy tap-to-donate machine located in our car park (next to the Welcome sign), you can scan the QR code on our signage, donate via our website or leave a cash donation in the boxes on site.

You can also donate your pre-loved items at our on-site Donations Centre. Good quality clothing, accessories, books, toys and homeware are all gratefully received.

Please be mindful that our site is the home of many of the people we support, some of whom work in and use the Cafe and help care for our animals. Please be respectful of this at all times. It is also a working site used by Aspens' care, maintenance and office staff.

Planned Roadworks in August

Please note that their are roadworks planned between 24 and 28 August, meaning the Pembury High Street end of Cornford Lane will be shut . You will be able to access Aspens/The Bluebell Cafe via the Halls Hole end of Cornford Lane during this period. For up-to-date road closure information click Causeway one.network
