Role/Job Title: Waking Night Support Worker
Location: 17 Wentworth Close, Bexhill-On-Sea, TN40 2PQ
Hours: 10 hours per week (Fridays 21:30pm – 7:30am)
Salary: £14.43 per hour

Wentworth Close is a single storey, bungalow property situated in Bexhill-On-Sea within walking distance of local shops, amenities and Bexhill seafront. The home supports four individuals and is a short distance Battle and Hastings and well placed to enable them to take advantage of the variety of local beaches, towns and villages of rural East Sussex.

About the Role
We are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker who is caring, reliable and confident working independently overnight.

You will be responsible for supporting individuals during the night, completing regular checks, administering medication where required, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring accurate record keeping. This role involves lone working as well as being part of a wider supportive team.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with personal care, nutrition and medication
  • Completing night checks and accurate documentation
  • Lone working with confidence and professionalism
  • Maintaining cleanliness through laundry and housekeeping tasks
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns promptly
  • Working in line with individual care plans, policies and procedures

About You

You will be:

  • Caring, calm and patient with a positive, can-do attitude
  • A good communicator who can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
  • Confident using basic IT systems and completing written records

Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – we welcome applicants who are keen to learn and develop.
